Volksbank Consulting (VBC)
Volksbank Consulting supports the regional Volksbanks in the areas of business for their own account, investments for their customers and order management.
Its focus lies on providing exclusive support to the association of Volksbanks as well as the regional Volksbanks. Thus, Volksbank Consulting offers a wide range of services tailored to the individual needs of this target group.
In the business for their own account, we assist and support the regional Volksbanks in their asset and liability management as part of the asset/liability management meetings and in investing the A portfolio.
In investing for their customers, VBC offers support to the banks in their planning processes, in the ongoing implementation of their business and in controlling through numerous instruments such as the planning workshop, customer securities business, consulting software and comprehensive analyses. In retail business, VBC also offers many marketing services in cooperation with the Group marketing department, such as the targeted campaign "Frau & Geld".
Order Management offers a professional service for both the Bank’s own securities and the third-party securities. The active support, which is focused on customers’ requirements, is based on a wide range of products for third-party products, use of an international research network and on well-founded expertise, most notably in bonds and funds.

- Support with investment proposals (bond overviews, updates)
Furthermore, the Volksbanks are supported extensively in serving their commercial customers. The aim is to actively support and aid sales units as their customers' risk manager. In this context, interest rate, foreign currency and commodity risks are hedged.
