On 15 December 2011, the supervisory board of Österreichische Volksbanken-Aktiengesellschaft (VBAG) approved an internal reorganization of the Group´s divisions. The new divisional structure reflects VBAG´s focus its core business, the function as central institution of the Austrian Volksbanks.

Volksbank AG – Investkredit performs the tasks arising from VBAG´s central institution function and provides the following services to the Volksbank sector: syndicated finance, subsidized finance, financing for renewable energy projects and factoring. The remaining business units will be wound down in the medium-term in an orderly, value-preserving process.
