Starting work at Österreichische Volksbanken-AG
We attach very great importance to a successful start to our new colleagues' careers with our company.
For this reason, we invite all new employees to a "check-in" session when they start work. During this half-day session, you will be given information on the ÖVAG Group and on our processes and structures, will become familiar with key contacts and also have the opportunity to network with other new joiners.
In the first six months, our new employees also go through a standard induction phase. New colleagues are given feedback by their direct line manager in three orientation sessions. At the same time, new employees can and should use the orientation sessions to discuss outstanding questions on their area of activity or on the corporate culture with their managers. These sessions guarantee that new staff receive optimal support during their first few weeks in the new company.
Appraisal interviews
Particularly in a performance oriented company such as ours, motivated employees make a very successful contribution to the achievement of corporate objectives. Employees’ education and single-mindedness is demanded and encouraged here.
The appraisal interview, which takes place once a year with the direct line manager, offers both sides the opportunity to review the past year and to discuss targets, expectations and training measures for the coming year.
